This hybrid wax by Car Guys is amazing. I researched best sealants and waxes, and this was the number one recommended. I tried it out and I am in love. It's long lasting, easy to use, and it won't turn your black trim white.
The One and Only DMV Legal and State Approved license plate wrap. This is an answer to how to display a front plate without drilling holes. At $120, it's not cheap. However, that a small price compared to repairing a damaged front bumper. https://licenseplatewrap.com/
PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blades - At more than double the cost of regular wiper blades, I had no interest in trying these expensive blades. However, as a commuter, I was tired of changing wiper blades every time it rained, and dealing with the skipping and noisy squeaks. I saw these blades on a product test and decided to purchase a set for my own research. All I can say is wow, I won't use anything but PIAA's Super Silicone Wiper Blades. There are other silicone manufactures, but I haven't had the same luck.
Bead Maker by P & S - We all have our favorite car cleaning products, and Bead Maker is my new favorite. I use it after washing and drying my car. It's easy and quick to use, only taking about 10 minutes to apply to an average size car. It also lasts longer than any wax/sealant I have used, and it won't discolor or leave a film on plastic/rubber trim.
Mobil 1 - We all have our favorite motor oil, but Mobil 1 is proven to be a top performer. In addition to superior cleaning, cooling, and lubricating properties, it can be found frequently on sale at Walmart in a 5-quart container. For that reason, Mobil 1 is the oil I recommend to family and friends.
Double Twistress by The Rag Company - I have watched a number of YouTube videos to see what the pros use. Currently, most pros use microfiber towels to dry cars, and the Double Twistress is my favorite. I use two or three to dry a car, and they make really quick work of it.
Blaster Sidekick by Metro - Most car people familiar with car detailing know about the Air Force Master Blaster and its powerful car drying power. The Sidekick is a budget friendly car dryer that packs a lot of punch. It's perfect for cleaning wheels, engines, door jams, and around all the panels that tend to drip water after drying.
Wash Bucket with Grit Guard - Using multiple wash buckets is another trade secret that is gaining popularity. I personally use three: One for my wheels, one for the car, and another with fresh water to rinse the wash mitts. Also, be sure to select a bucket with a grit guard. Grit guards do a great job allowing debris to settle at the bottom of the bucket, and preventing wash mitts from coming in contact with the debris. No need to spend a lot of money, Walmart has a bucket and grit guard combo that is very affordable.
Spray Bottle - It seems like every time I buy a $.98 spray bottle, they simply don't work, or the bottle falls out of the trigger assembly. Frustrated, I decided to look for an alternative and have had great success with IK and Chemical Guys spray bottles. If you have experienced frustration with cheap spray bottles, try making the switch.
I visited Steve's a while back to check out his car, and I was really impressed by the LED lighting he had in his garage; it was so bright. Amazon has a number of brands ranging in price, but I chose an 8-pack of 8 foot super bright white lights like the set pictured above. The difference is huge, it is so bright that my wife won't go into the garage.
Known as crash wrap, this is one of my favorite products. It's a sticky and thick plastic wrap that can be placed on body panels to protect the paint while working on a vehicle.
WeatherTech floor liners are awesome, and they are the first thing I purchase when I purchase a new car.
The Illumin8er is an LED light mat that can light an engine compartment, or help one see better under the car when changing the oil.
Reviver brings 21st century technology to your license plate. The digital license plate offers a clean look, allows the owner to switch from white to black plates, and can display stolen and Amber Alert messages.
This is one powerful sprayer. If you are looking to wash your car with a waterless system, this is the sprayer for you.
Unger's Rinse N Go spotless wash system is my favorite new toy. I have really hard water and it can leave water spots. I tested the water before and after the Rinse N Go and it changed from a TDS 585 to 4. Anything over 100 PPM is hard water, and anything over 40 has the potential to leave spots and drip stains.
These Hourleey 3/4" garden hose quick connectors are awesome. I switch between hose nozzles, a pressure washer, and a deionizer often enough that having a quick disconnect makes it fast and easy.
